So yeah I've been improving a lot recently (well at least I think I did) but now I've come to a wall. I can't seem to progress over it and it's becoming pretty annoying. Although I'm kind of satisfied with my line-art (still need a lot of improvement but that's not the issue right now), my coloring skills are absent. The biggest problem I'm facing with it is that I try to many thing at once. Since I've never learned how to properly color from anyone, and I'm pretty much self-teaching myself on the subject, I'm trying aimlessly to do a decent job. Resulting in a lot of time wasting. So instead of finishing a piece in 4 hours I finish it in 10! It's ridiculous! Here's what happen, on one hand I try to go with a really simple shading style (2 tones that's it) but then I want it to look more realistic and that's where it all goes wrong! I take out my fancy brush and begin to make layers over layers over layers of different shade to finally be unsatisfied and do it again in a completely different way and repeat the process multiple time! Let's just take ''Le Mange Coeur'' for example, I did and redid the complete shading over 5 times! It might not seems much especially since on DA the pic doesn't seems that big but take a look at it's actual size on the download option... it's 4320 by 2880! that's hella big! While I should probably work on a smaller scale, I always get the feeling of being restricted by the size... Anyway don't get me started on the different color scheme... fuck!

Anyway the point is my coloring suck, and I need help... While the different tutorial online are REALLY useful, what I need is an actual mentor that would correct me... Anyway.
